Re: Many issues with installation...
... boards. Your situation may very well be different from the theirs though. We may be better off letting Blitze weigh in on this next time he's on. SVN is the sub-version, between full versions, its the bleeding edge of updates and bug fixes. As Blitze makes changes to the code, he commits those ...

Re: Many issues with installation...
... will be 5 soon. Isn't there a file (or many many files, rather) that I can edit to use the new prefix? Or better yet use a variable? Also, what is SVN? EDIT: 2 more things I should mention. 1) I don't remember the exact error, but it looked to my semi-educated eyes that it was using the proper ...

Re: Thoughts
Hmm... not sure what would have caused that but I'll take a look. Was that after running the installer to update to the latest svn or what happened there? As far as providing variables for the wiki-style pages, that is actually an excellent idea. I'll see what I can do to make that happen. ...

Re: Install issue - General Error
... fine. I then copied the edited files from that link into the correct directories as well as the files in the root directory of the primetime svn zip file. It came up with the following error. General Error SQL ERROR [ mysql4 ] Table 'csatorguk_471455_db1.block_positions_table' doesn't exist ...

Re: Install issue - General Error
Yes, the zip file you used is the same one that ReverbDev was talking about. There have been updates in SVN since then, but the SVN684 files should be a stable package. I won't be pre-packaging another version until Blitze is ready for another submission to the phpbb.com mod ...

Re: Install issue - General Error
Thanks for your reply first of all :). Yes, I installed the latest version of the SVN release from this link: http://www.mylatterdays.com/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=1037 I have quite a few mods (14) but I think that PT would benefit my site so much that I would be ...

Re: Install issue - General Error
I just happened to be passing by and saw this. You say that you did a manual install of the latest phpBB3 and the PT code from the SVN release. The question I have is... are you running any other mods? If NOT, then perhaps nuke your entire code and start again from scratch, but this time ...

Strange problem -> no news (but it is there!)
Hi all,
I have a strange problem. I copied my data from one database to another. I went great, except for 1 item. When going to news, it says:
- No News(items) have been posted yet. -
But when i go to Forrums->Content->News it is there?
What did i forget?!
I'm using latest SVN.

Re: Installing SVN 684
I don't see any reason why not. Of course, much depends on what you are coming "from", revision wise. Many of the changes are 'internal', which don't require modification of the main phpBB files (if you are upgrading from a recent release). As always, read the install and upgrade docs first.
